Hello hello everyone! Media Mirage here and today's assignment was to create a mood board for the previous blog post that was about our movie shots. I was given the opportunity to do another movie, but I had to stick to my roots and do another post about little women and how good of a movie it is. I used Pinterest as my main source of images for this mood board because I realize that it comes up with far more visually pleasing photos so I decided to go for it.
I came up with most of these photos by looking up what each of the individual characters liked and viewed themselves as.
For example, the eldest of the March sisters is Meg March, she is a homebody and embraces the natural calling for a woman to become a mother, including doing the traditional works of a wife in the 1800's such as doing the laundry and living in a humble home as displayed by some of the photos in this mood board.
Second, there is the self righteous Jo March, who has an affinity for writing and has gotten quite skilled with the quill. So I added photos of writing and the quill to symbolize Jo's hobbies.
Of course you cannot forget the musically gifted Beth March, who has a quiet soul but loves to pet animals and play the piano. The photos I chose are the girl petting the horse, the pianos, and the sheet music perfectly emulate Beth's character.
And last but not least, cannot forget about the vindictive Amy March, who has always had a thing for the finer things in life, but for painting as well. I used the painting photos here to display her passion and how it drives her to do the things that she does throughout the movie.
