Just recently the Twister Sisters once again met up in person right before our first day of filming. I graciously borrowed the equipment from Beacon TV and we stan Jim in this blog 🫡 It was really easy giving out roles since we all were clear with our strengths and weaknesses. I picked up the equipment and I worked with Kash to figure out what kind of equipment we want and since Kash wasn't there to see how everything worked, our goat Jim gracious enough to allow me to film explanations for Kash and since we all love Jim I'm gonna show the recording I did.
Actors: The actors weren't very important since the story only surrounded one person. Irene. So no one needed to have very exemplar acting so that allowed us to just pulled students and extras from our normal classes since they didn't have to act for anything.
Costumes: I was in charge of costuming so I really wanted this scene to emulate a early 2000's Jennifer's Body feel, or like Mean Girls. Alot of inspiration came from early 2000's movie since that was an era where costuming was rlly prominent and very iconic. So I really wanted there to be a contrast between the other students and the Irene and her friends to show how vibrant her life was.
Props: The main propwe wanted to use was probably the props we would use for her locker and to display that she was dead and she was well loved in the school. The plan is to make it use the lockerroom and to bring in flowers and notes to show that she had a lot of people thinking about her when she died. Kind of like Hannah's locker from thirteen reasons why with all of the flowers and pictures to show that she was popular in high school.
Location: For our locations we decided on five locations. My room, the locker room, the school bathroom, my bathroom, and the classroom. We used my room and my bathroom for her wake up in her homecoming dress and bruises and then the locker room, school bathroom, and the classroom are used for both the flashback scenes and the post death scenes to show how the difference of her life.
Date and Times: The dates we chose to film was to film the bedroom scenes on Tuesday, January 14. Then film the classroom and hallways present day scenes the next day on Wednesday, January 15. Then the flashback, death, and locker scenes would be on Friday, January 17. All of this would be done after school and would range from 3:00 - 6:00
Film Equipment: In order to have the best chance of a good quality filming day, we decided to borrow equipment from beacon tv which was suggested by Ms.Woz. Kash was responsible for the contact and I decided to step up and pick it up and have everything under my name- very scary. But very necessary.
